PIX4Dreact 1.4: faster processing, sharing to PIX4Dcloud

PIX4Dreact 1.4 brings you faster processing, sharing to PIX4Dcloud, new language, and more

The latest update for PIX4Dreact takes advantage of faster processing power in computers, as well as offering users better customization of their services and sharing of outputs. PIX4Dreact 1.4 includes enhanced processing speeds (GPU acceleration), share to PIX4Dcloud, and a new language (Ukrainian).

Enhanced fast mapping using GPU acceleration

PIX4Dreact is the ideal software for working with drones in emergency response and public safety because it creates 2D maps in minutes and is simple to use - it’s exactly what responders need in complex and stressful situations.

Now, computers equipped with a graphics processing unit (GPU) will be able to produce orthomosaics faster than ever before. The enhanced processing update means that when it is enabled, the graphics card resources will be leveraged to reduce processing time on high-resolution RGB imagery datasets. The already-fast outputs of PIX4Dreact will be available even more quickly - all without needing an internet connection.

As cameras with higher resolution capabilities can produce images that take longer to process, some users reduce the resolution to get faster results. The GPU processing unlocks the power of the computer’s existing hardware and processes maps at full resolution without sacrificing quality. This provides outputs at record speeds. As a result, PIX4Dreact users can get faster analytics for when it matters most.

Share to PIX4Dcloud (beta)

Whether you want to share information with emergency responders on the ground, humanitarian aid professionals, or decision making teams, easily exporting PIX4Dreact outputs makes your work faster. Getting up-to-date and reliable information to the right people is of utmost importance during an emergency.

PIX4Dreact outputs can now be uploaded to PIX4Dcloud for sharing as part of an existing PIX4Dreact plan. Export your orthomosaic, digital surface model, or pdf report and seamlessly send them to colleagues or teams on the ground. The people you are sharing with do not need a PIX4D license to view the output you send them. Uploads can be scaled to half or a quarter of their original size to save time especially when bandwidth is limited.

Enjoy fast, efficient processing and sharing that enables you to get work done at a lower cost with a faster turnaround.

New language

Finally, we have added one new language to PIX4Dreact: Ukrainian. The software is already available in English, German, Japanese, Spanish, Chinese, Portuguese, Italian, French, Korean, and Russian. Work in the language that best suits you to get results faster.

PIX4Dreact 1.4 builds on the significant work already possible when using drone mapping in emergency response and public safety. The enhanced speed and export capabilities mean users can achieve more without ever losing sight of what makes this product special: fast-mapping and fast responses when they are most needed.
