Pix4D & CHU to launch Asia Hub Training Center, South Korea
Pix4D is taking a major step into the Asian market by partnering with South Korea’s Cheju Halla University (CHU) to establish the Pix4D Asia Hub Training Center in Jeju. This collaboration is set to become a center for fostering the next generation of geospatial talent and driving R&D across the continent.
A New Hub for Digital Twin Expertise
The core mission of the new Training Center is to cultivate key experts in photogrammetry and digital twin technologies. This is a strategic effort to develop the talent needed to lead Asia's digital transformation.
The Center's location on Jeju Island provides several strategic advantages:
Geographical gateway: Jeju is ideally positioned as a central hub with excellent accessibility, connecting students and professionals from Northeast and Southeast Asia for international training programs.
R&D outpost: The facility will function as a major R&D Outpost, driving applied geospatial technology innovation across the continent.
Drone innovation zone: Jeju’s status as a "Drone Special Liberalization Zone" makes it a perfect, regulatory-friendly environment for demonstrating and testing Pix4D’s next-generation drone mapping technologies.
“This collaboration with Cheju Halla University marks a critical step in our expansion across Asia. By combining our world-class technology with CHU’s leadership in regional innovation, we are establishing the premier center for photogrammetry education and R&D. We are reinforcing our commitment to developing the next generation of digital twin experts who will lead the region’s digital transformation." - Andrey Kleymenov, CEO of Pix4D

The leaders of both organizations emphasized the importance of this strategic partnership.
“This strengthens our role as a hub for AI and geospatial innovation in Asia and opens new opportunities for students and professionals to engage with advanced imaging and spatial intelligence technologies that drive sustainable regional growth." - Prof. Young Joon Lee, Head of the Innovation Office at Cheju Halla University
This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is effective immediately and is valid for five years.
