We take privacy seriously

We work hard to ensure your personal information and other data is protected with appropriate technical and organizational safeguards. However, please be aware that no security measure can be completely effective, and you share your personal information with us at your own risk.

At the time of writing your personal information is stored and processed on our servers in Switzerland and in the United States. We don’t foresee this changing, but you can always check the most up-to-date information on our PRIVACY OR LEGAL PAPERS.

We only use your data for the purpose you intend it. For example, we keep a record of your email so you can log into Pix4D, and so we can send you billing reminders if need be. Your information may be shared with third parties if this is necessary for you to effectively use the service. This includes data storage or payment processing. We may also disclose your personal information if required to do so by law.

Unlike some other companies, we have chosen to apply the privacy protections recommended in the GDPR globally. That means that no matter where you are in the world, we treat your data with the same level of respect.

Your responsibility

If you are collecting or processing personal information (including geographic location), you need to be mindful of how the GDPR regulations affect you. If the GDPR applies to you, you need need to inform your clients about the systems used to process the data and store it securely.

However, even if you say ‘no’ to all the above, we may still send you service notifications in order to provide the best experience while using our services, for example if your free trial is about to expire, or a password reset is requested.
